Terms and Conditions for Taxi Services

When utilizing taxi services, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions that govern your journey. These guidelines ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for both passengers and service providers. In this article, we highlight the key aspects of our terms and conditions, promoting transparency and clarity in our taxi services.

1. Amendment of Pick-Up Time:

For local trips, if you wish to change the pick-up time, we will accommodate the request based on the next available slot. However, please note that once the driver has left the base, which typically takes 15 minutes for local areas, 30 minutes for neighboring towns, and 45 minutes to an hour for longer distances, any further changes will be assessed based on prevailing traffic conditions. In the event of additional amendments, we reserve the right to cancel the taxi booking. If the passenger agrees, a 50% refund of the taxi fare will be provided. We prioritize our passengers' convenience but multiple changes in pick-up time can cause delays and disrupt our logistics.

2. Alteration of Pick-Up Time for Airport Transfers:

We strongly recommend providing a nominated pick-up time for airport transfers. If you need to modify your pick-up time, kindly contact our Customer Support team for assistance.

3. Waiting Time Policy:

Local Taxi Service:

We allow a complimentary waiting time of five (5) minutes for local taxi trips. Any waiting time beyond this period will be charged at a rate of £7.00 per 15 minutes, pro-rated accordingly.

Airport Transfer Service:

After the plane has landed, we provide a free waiting time of 45 minutes. Any additional waiting time will be charged at £7.00 for saloon cars, £9.00 for MPV vans, and £12.00 for executive S Class or other luxury cars. We recommend nominating a pick-up time to minimize parking and waiting fees.

4. Airport Parking Fees:

We only charge parking fees at cost. Please refer to the car parking tariffs of Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, London City, and Stansted airports. Farnborough Airport does not impose any parking fees. Rest assured, we monitor your flight and offer a complimentary meet and greet service upon arrival. Once again, we highly recommend providing a pick-up time to streamline the process.

5. Vehicle and Driver Changes:

In certain logistic scenarios, we may need to organize a different vehicle and driver. This ensures uninterrupted service delivery. We may collaborate with licensed transfer providers, and while the car type may change, our focus remains on maintaining a seamless transfer service.

6. Late Night Bookings and Payment:

For taxis and ground transportation services, including chauffeur and airport taxis, late night bookings starting from 2300 hours require advance payment. We dispatch the taxi driver or chauffeur only after payment has been processed. We typically request advance payment through a secure payment link or bank transfer. For return trips, payment can be arranged during the initial outbound trip drop-off. Failure to pay for the return trip will result in the driver not being allocated. Securing your late-night taxi driver and car is our priority, and ensuring their earnings is also of utmost importance.

7. Maintaining Cleanliness:

To avoid any issues, we urge passengers to be responsible and refrain from fouling inside the car. The legal fouling fee is £100.00 as per existing laws. We reserve the right to refuse passengers in cases involving potential consumption of alcohol or illegal substances.

8. Refusal of Taxi Carriage:

In the interest of passenger and driver safety, we reserve the right to refuse carriage to individuals displaying disruptive behavior, posing threats, or engaging in actions that compromise safety.

9. Communication Channels:

We understand the importance of timely communication and aim to keep our clients informed. If you feel overwhelmed by the frequency of our communications, please notify our Customer Support Team. We employ state-of-the-art communication systems that provide driver status updates, including en-route notifications, on-site arrivals, passenger boarding updates, and job completion notifications. We appreciate passengers contacting the designated driver, as our meet and greet service greatly relies on client participation. Kindly ensure your mobile phone is charged, and we can reach you via mobile or email. Should there be any changes or delays in your trip, please contact us promptly.

10. Cancellation Policies:

Considering the efforts, resources, and administration involved in providing our services, we have implemented reasonable cancellation administration and fees. When you booked our taxi or chauffeur services, we blocked the time, day and the availability of the driver is on our passenger already, we are not taking any other bookings that will clash with your arranged transfer service.  An administrative fee of £10.00 applies. The following refund percentages apply based on the cancellation notice provided:

- Cancellation one week before the trip: 80% refund

- Cancellation two days before the trip: 50% refund

- Cancellation one day before the trip: 20% refund

- Cancellation within 12 hours of the journey (regardless of when the booking was made): No refund

11. Payments:

To secure your car and driver, an advance payment is required for inbound travel, first time clients and also for travel during unsocial hours (Week-ends and from 2300 hours up to 0659 hours).  We will send a secured payment link or on rare occasions, we just send you our bank details.
